This cable assembly is used in Computed Tomography (CT). It acts as an interface between M-Sub and axial drive. It comprises of 25 position male and female D-sub connectors,ferrite core at either ends. A D-sub contains two or more parallel rows of pins or sockets usually surrounded by a D-shaped metal shield that provides mechanical support, ensures correct orientation, and may screen against electromagnetic interference. Ferrite core provides an effective way of coupling high-frequency resistance into a cable in order to reduce the common-mode current, and hence the radiation (or pickup) from the cable. It is labeled with the proper connection identity for easy identification.This cable assembly is compatible with Discovery 750,Optima Elite,
