The Rocker Bag-to-Vent Switch Valve in Anesthesia Delivery is used in Aespire 7900, OBS module, floating microswitch assembly, Aespire 7100 and other medical equipments as applicable. Whenever a ventilator is used on an Anesthesia Machine, the circle system's Adjustable Pressure Limiting (APL) a valve must be functionally removed or isolated from the circuit. A bag-to-vent switch generally accomplishes this. When the switch is turned to “bag” the ventilator is excluded and spontaneous/manual (bag) ventilation is possible. When it is turned to a “ventilator,” the breathing bag and the APL valve are excluded from the breathing circuit. The rocker switch valve is made up of DuPont Zytel® 101, is a cost-effective, high-performance polyamide nylon suitable for a wide range of applications. It has good strength and stiffness properties along with moldability. The product is made from high-grade materials with good mechanical properties ensuring an increased lifespan for the component.
