The Plug NEMA Outlet - Injection Molded is a power plug that is one of the AC inlet components. These plugs have two poles with a ground pin rated 125 volts maximum. The plug has two flat parallel pins with the same geometry and a solid pin or a flat metal folded into a 'U' shape on the other side. The ground pin is longer than the two parallel pins so that the device is grounded before supply is connected. The neutral insertion point in the socket is wider to accommodate polarized type plug. The neutral blade of the plug is not always wider than the line blades, since the ground pin enforces polarity. This type of plug or connector is called a NEMA 5-15. The power plug is used in XR Optima XR220amx, Aespire 7100, Engstrom, Aisys CS2, ARC Aestiva 7100, ARC Engstrom Carestation and in many other systems.
