Self-tapping screws are different then traditional screws as they tap their own threads when screwed into either plastic, wood or metal. Self-tapping screws are commonly used when you need to attach two pieces of material together and can only access one side of the material. This two inch long Pan Head Screw comes with a cross recessed phillips drive that aids in proper torquing and stronger joints. Made of 18/8 Stainless Steel material that consist of 18% chromium and 8% nickel, it is corrosion resistant and oxidation resistant. These screws are compatible to be used in the assemblies of Avance, Aisys and Aespire Anesthesia Delivery systems.
