The Flow Tube Module - Nitric Oxide (N₂O) kit comes as a part of the flow meter module in the Breathing Gas Circuit (BGC) of an anesthesia delivery machine. It is used to supply the nitrogen oxide gas from the N₂O supply source to the anesthesia unit at a controlled rate. The kit consists of two flow tubes with measurements and floats, a collar index (large and small flow tube), and EPDM plug ball, cartridge tube, a flowmeter frame, an adapter cartridge, a plug tubing, O-Rings, barbed pin and a cable tie. The frame and flow tube are made of 20% glass filled Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) which provides excellent stiffness and toughness, such that they resist any external damage. The kit is packaged in a protective container with global standards.
