The AMX-4 is a radiographic system which is used for imaging method diagnosis using X-Rays. The system works on the principle where high velocity electrons, when interacted with patient’s body, their kinetic energy is converted into Electromagnetic Radiation (X-Rays). A detector that is in line with the source of rays, detects them and measures their properties. The system consists of a CPU controller board which contains all the electronics necessary to drive all the other boards in the system. Its main function is to monitor all the inputs from the various boards in the system, use the information obtained to make operating decisions and output information to the appropriate boards to ensure safe and reliable information. Along with AMX-4, the controller board is also used in equipments like XR AMX 2, XV AdvanTX LCA, UL LOGIQ E9, XV AdvanTX LC, XM Diamond Delta 32 and so on.
